Thankfully, form meets function. The handle is very balanced and feels nice in the hand. The blade isn't flimsy either. The knife handles both crusty breads and soft breads with ease. This knife has easily become one of my favorites.

I make all different kinds of homemade breads at least 2-3 times a week, so this bread knife was absolutely perfect. Great packaging. The handle/weight is comfortable to hold, which made slicing through different types of bread an ease. The blade is a great length and was very easy to slice thru warm or cold bread and I was able to slice the bread for thin or thick slices. I put it thru my dishwasher and hand also hand washed it,it cleaned up great! I am very pleased with this bread knife. I did recommend to all my friends and family.
