Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Whisk Oxidation & metal residue I bought this about a 2 months ago but only started using it about a month ago and I noticed that the whisk had all these white powdered spots all over it after washing. I also noticed the metal residue on my hands after washing it. I googled it and it said stainless steel oxidizes. I really wish there was a warning about this beforehand, especially on how to care for the product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by aemom from Wire Whip I love my Stand Mixer! but I am also having oxidization issues with the whip and one of the wires snapped! While making whipped cream!! not a heavy substance at all. Sad to see it is out of stock - right before Christmas when all the baking is to be done.

Rated 1 out of 5 by gettingandspending from Poor quality I bought my current stand mixer KSM150 six or seven years ago,(better colour) and gave my old one, bought in 2002, to my son. I regret doing that as for the past three or more years, the wires have been popping out of the head of the whip. For the first one or two, I used liquid solder, but it only lasts a year or so and them I'm re-gluing. But now a third wire has popped out and I am FED UP. Now I have to do all my Christmas baking etc. with a hand mixer. I don't even like the mixer as it's hard to add ingredients and doesn't run well, and I wish for something like an updated model of the old Sunbeam Mixmaster with its wide glass bowl. And my OLD mixer is working perfectly at my son's. Shows you the decline in quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sam44 from Already Broken! I bought a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer that came with a wirewhip attachment in Jun this year. After using this only a few times, one of the wires has snapped at the attachment “base” where all the wires are welded together. I love my mixer - but am extremely disappointed with this attachments lack of durability.
