I received this handheld blender as a Christmas gift to replace a non-Kitchen Aid model. I find the chopping unit ideal as I only make small quantities of meals these days. The blender head is very quick to clean, a big improvement over my older unit. It has only been a few months, but I am thoroughly pleased with this model. Although it is not a concern at this point, I anticipate the three speed setting numbers on the top will wear away in time. Perhaps the speed settings embossed into the plastic would eliminate that possibility. I am cautious about not putting excess liquids into the chopper as the will trap fluids. I noticed this when washing down after use. Totally submersing the chopper lid in soapy water will result in liquid stuck in the chopper lid. I appreciate the storage bag, a simple touch, but helps keep my storage drawer organized. Overall, a very positive experience with this fine Kitchen Aid product.

It is extremely easy to use, very convenient and very powerful. Best of all, there is very clean up involved...not like when I had to pull out my blender, and take the whole thing apart....It takes up very little room, so that is a plus too...buy it..you won't be sorry.
