Fan noise is brutalThe oven does a great job on cooking but we had an issue with the circuit board blowing after we used the self clean mode for the first time. It built up too much heat causing the board to blow. They replaced the board under warranty & put in a set of retrofit fans to improve airflow so this wouldn't happen again. It did improve the airflow but now it sounds like we have a 747 jet in the kitchen from just regular cooking. When you turn the oven off, the fans stay on to dissipate heat until it gets down to a certain temp. The whole family can't wait until they shut off so we can talk normal. We leave the oven door open to shorten this time from about 15 min down to 5 min.

Fully featuredThe oven works great. It replaced a 22 year old similar manufacturer but didn't fit the wall cut out and the installer needed to modify the opening (which he charged extra for) . The old oven was a flush mount and the new one sticks out about 1 inch and looks a little odd. There was still a gap on either side and fortunately I was able to use 2 metal strips the installer left me to cover the gap. Looks okay now. The 'cooldown' fan is a little noisy.
We like the large window and the interior colour and brightness. The design is sleek and well executed. Cooks fine. Would have been better if it could have been flush mounted easily.

Long Heat-up Time, NoisyThis oven came with our new home. Had to call for repair right away as oven would not heat to set temperature. Manual says allow 15 minutes. First call to customer service they said allow 30 minutes. Second call to customer service they said allow 45 minutes. Finally repair came out, replaced electronics and oven heats to desired temperature but takes 30 minutes. Customer Service told him it's due to the design with the heating element being under the metal bottom plate of the oven interior although the manual clearly says it will heat to temperature in 15 minutes. Poor engineering. Also, fan has a noisy rattle at times.

KitchenAid Wall OvenThis is my second KitchenAid wall oven. My last one lasted 13 years and honestly was still working when we bought or new one because we remodeled our kitchen. This is the exact same oven as the first one however it heats faster, the window is larger and it has fantastic lighting - two lights that are staggered across from each other. This oven also has a high wattage so the oven heats faster and more evenIy. I just love love love this oven. We use our oven 4-6 times ever week. I am so glad I went back to KitchenAid. We also bought other kitchenaid appliances for our remodell and we are just waiting for the fridge to die so we can add the fridge to our new kitchen.

Convection Fan Issues after 8 monthsHi. I bought this unit in December of 2021. I am really disappointed with this unit. I started to notice that the convection fan was making a loud buzzing noise. When I called Whirlpool repairs, they outsourced me to a repair company that told me that this was a very frequent problem with this unit. However, they are short on parts, and I may need to wait 8 weeks to have my oven fixed.
Honestly, for an oven this expensive, I'd highly advise you all to buy another manufacturer. When I spoke to Whirlpool on the phone, they could care less and told me just to 'wait it out.'

Features and Finishes PlusI reviewed seberal brands of wall ovens before purchasing this KitchenAid unit. The feature "stack" provided is significantly superior to any of the others I researched. For instance: The positionable glide-out rack, the access handles provided in each rack, the lighting provided to view all inside, the easy control selection with some preprogrammed fuctiion and on and on. The interior of the oven has a superb easy clean surface, the gasketing of the oven is on the oven and not on the door making for a tighter seal. It has been a pleasure to work with. AMEN

Disappointed with product reliabilityPurchased this oven in June 2018. I was happy with it until the temperature started fluctuating unpredictably, sometimes leaving food under-done, other times burned after half the normal cook time. Repair technician diagnosed the problem as a cooling blower motor fan short and also main control board malfunction. Repair will cost $995, which is half the cost of a new oven! I suspect the problem may have been caused by running the self-cleaning cycle. I can't prove that, but the problems started not long after cleaning it. I expected much longer life from this oven than just 6 years given the cost, hence this 1-star rating. Most reviews are written right after the initial purchase / install, and at that point, I would have given a 5-star rating. Now, I'm researching reliability of other brands before deciding whether to repair this one.

Wonderful OvenI have had this oven a couple of months now. Although I do not use this often, I was surprized at the plethera of features. It is a little complicated to program, but I am getting better at it. One down side is that you can set a temperature and length of time to bake. When the time is up, the oven shut off. This can be a problem when the cake or whatever you are baking is not quite done requiring you to start the oven again. I would have liked a 5-minute warning so I can check on whatever is baking. This problem could just be "new user" syndrome and I need to learn the features better.
That said, the window is huge and the lighting inside the oven in superb so I no longer need to open the oven door to check on anything.

So far, so goodAfter a very long wait to get my wall oven, I have been delighted by its capacity and temperature accuracy. Even though it's in the same space as my old oven, it seems larger. I started out by testing roasted and baked entrees (homemade). They turned out perfectly. Then I tried scones. I estimated they would be finished in 20 minutes. I took them out after 21 minutes and they were a little overcooked - by 1 minute. Perfect again. There were some complaints about the time it takes to preheat. There is a quick preheat function, so this has not been an issue.

Very bad ovenI used the self clean function of my 3.5 year old wall oven. Now its dead. I talked to customer service which asked me to pay for service call. At first its your stupid design and now I have to pay you again to fix your own problem. Very bad customer service and also appliance that are more expensive than others. You guys sell defect appliances that don't function properly. DONT buy Kitchen aid anything
