Poor quality appliance, poor customer serviceVery disappointed with this fridge, as well as KitchenAid’s lackluster efforts to resolve issues. Water dispenser has been malfunctioning since the day it was delivered. Originally serviced under warranty. Replacement parts proved equally defective. Requested further servicing, but was informed both warranty and grace period for return visit from tech had expired. Paid for return visit and replacement parts. Replacement parts proved defective within 24 hours. Awaiting yet another return service call. Kitchenaid customer service declines to provide any alternative solution beyond ongoing service visits, and replacement with substandard parts.

Don’t buy this fridgeI bought the 30” fridge in December 2020 and after 3 months of waiting they delivered the fridge. The doors where not level and after I called the company they send a technician and he said I need to wait 3 more month for him to get the washers he needs to level the doors. I ended up ordering the piece online on amazon and fix the problem myself. The big drawer in the refrigerator pops out very frequently if its half full and its very hard for my wife to put it back.
There is no screw or any adjustment it’s simply poor quality.
I definitely won’t buy from Kitchen Aid again and I’m advising everyone I know not to waist their money on this cheap quality well overrated brand.

Good little fridgeOnly had it a month but so far so good. The interior water dispenser is a nice feature only wish the water was a bit colder. Freezer is very small and does not fit a pizza box, which is ok for me as I have a deep freezer in the basement but not great if you don’t. LED lights are nice and bright and it’s not too noisy. The crisper drawers don’t always close properly but overall it’s a nice looking fridge with lots of features given interior water and ice are hard to find in fridges this size. These small drawbacks are why I take away a star from the rating. Hopefully it holds up over time and I don’t have problems with the ice maker as many others seem to have with these fridges.

Everything you Could WantWe started using this refrigerator a month ago. Because of design considerations, the widest fridge we could accomodate was 30". I did not hold out much hope that a 30" fridge could have the capacity or features we wanted. This fridge exceeded my expectations. Our household is only two people but this fridge could easily accomodates our needs and has room for more. he clever design lets you easily arrange, see and retrieve items from the fridge. The water dispenser (Inside the fridge) works well and cleanly stops and starts with very little dripping. We haven't used the ice-maker but the little bit we did was done without problem.

I do like the fresh water feature and the ice makeNow that I have had time to use and store things in my refrigerator, I am not quite sure what the "fresh" storage space is on the door? I mean, its so small, what would I put in there that wouldn't be so heavy it would tear that clear plastic container off the door?
As well, I find that the second shelf, despite having the ability to slide a portion of it to the back to create space for larger/taller items, isn't really sufficient space for all those tall bottles/items. Would have been nice to have had that additional space on the second fridge door for that, but instead I have something there that I can't figure out what I would use it for . . . . .

I wish I could return itUnfortunately my previous fridge broke down just before I moved so I had limited budget. We chose this one. The drawers and supports broke very quickly with regular but careful use. I’ve been waiting almost a year for parts and repair.
I wanted a fridge that fit into a standard rental space and this does that at least.
I love kitchen aid as a company, but I may stick to smaller appliances.
The ice maker takes up so much space, the water dispenser isn’t a terrible design but it does accidentally trigger at times. My main issue is the (lack of) quality of the shelving and supports.
I wouldn’t recommend this purchase at all.

Contemporary CoolingWe have been very pleased with this product to date. Especially impressed with the interior design that has increased storage capacity from previous 30 inch refrigerators and provided thoughtful storage options. The newer features , including interior filtered water dispenser and built-in icemaker as well as filters for food freshness have proved to be quite beneficial. In terms of overall appearance (exterior) and presentation, we believe that all the door/drawer handles would look much better in black tone rather than chrome. The chrome detracts somewhat from its sleek black look.

Overall DisappointmentWe have had this refrigerator for 2 months. One month in we started to experience a “burning smell” coming from inside Of the fridge along with a haze. It turned out to be excess glue down near the fan motor on the back bottom plate. The service tech spent an hour removing the glue. Overall the inside of the fridge seems to be constructed with lightweight plastic. The fan motor is very loud. The bottom freezer does not open and close smoothly. And there isn’t enough space planned out for tall items. The one feature I like is the inside water dispenser and the lighting is nice and bright in both the top and bottom sections.

Worst purchase everI purchased this refrigerator in 2021 and I should of refused delivery. Since day one I've had problems. From rusting stainless steel to broken shelves and drawers to cooling system default, to freezer drawer not closing properly.
Dealing with customer service has been a nightmare. I've spent hours on the phone, only to be transferred to multiple departments and put on hold for what feels like an eternity. And when I finally do get through to someone only to get zero assistance with the issue.
This refrigerator has been a colossal waste of money. It fails at its basic function, is poorly designed, and is backed by a company that clearly doesn't care about its customers. If you're considering buying a kitchenaid refrigerator, I urge you to reconsider.

So far so goodWe bought the fridge a couple of months ago and so far we are happy with it. First fridge was whirlpool (same company) and that was terrible so we are hoping the quality is better with this model. One of the shelves in the door does not come with a shelf liner which is disappointing because that shelf doesn’t match the rest of the fridge. kitchenaid said they don’t have that size of liner. It would be nice to be able to remove the shelves in the freezer for easier cleaning. Filters are in a awkward position as well because you have to remove the shelves to access the filters
