Shouldn’t be disappointed from
Sorry I bought this Kitchenaid KRFC604FSS FridgeHad this fridge delivered May 24, 2021. It has not worked for a full 5 months over this time period. This fridge is now discontinued and I can see why.
It’s on its 3rd compressor now. First one was very noisy, 2nd one very quiet. 3rd one is the noisiest of the lot. The Db level ranges from 47 to 58. My previous refrigerators were very quiet not this one. When the compressor is on it is extremely noisy, which is most of the time.
Seriously bad refrigerator. Not reliable. Owned Kitchenaid previously for many years. I’ve never owned one that was unreliable and this noisy like this one. So very, very disappointed.

Disappointedpurchased this fridge as part of an kitchenaid appliance package April 2018. Purchased the 4 year warranty. Icemaker has been broken since April 2021 and they can't fix it. The insurance company will give me purchase price - 3,800 plus tax but it's now 5,600 and I'm not sure that the Stainless option is still available. Fingerprint stainless or black stainless will not match the other appliances. I'm not sure what to do - keep the fridge without the icemaker working or go with a Bosch in the correct colour but with many less features. Very disappointed with this fridge

Already giving problems in less than 2 years!I bought this fridge in December of 2016 and it recently started making a loud rattling noise which was on and off so I didn’t do anything about it as it went away. Now, the fridge is incredibly loud and it sounds like it’s going to explode and this is my first experience with a KitchenAid appliance. I had heard they were best in class and so far, I’m not impressed at all. Im going to have to dish out money to fix an almost new fridge to get either the compressor fan or evaporator fan replaced. Not something I planned to have to do with such a reputable brand!

Kitchenaid's BEST should work betterWe renovated our kitchen three years ago purchasing all top kitchenaid appliances. Our fridge - this fridge has recently been giving us issues- the mullion needed to be replaced as there was continuous leaking under the pantry drawer( one directly above freezer compartment). the leaking did not stop with the mullion replacement. ice built up behind this pantry drawer. Now we have little to none ice production and the temperature of the fridge while it says 37, it is cold , but not COLD. Very discouraged with Kitchenaid. While the kitchen looks great, I'd opt for a better performing refridgerator for the high price we paid.

Bad compressorLoved the refrigerator for the first 14 mos. Then a bad compressor. Customer service is a not a great experience. On hold for over 2 hours. Only to find out they don't have a tech in our area. Compressors are out of stock. So we have NO kitchen refrigerator 1 week prior to our daughters wedding and NO solution. We spent quite a bit for this refrigerator based on Kitchenaids history and because we were told that parts were available compared to their competitors. Our local dealer is a Mom and Pop shop and they are amazing. This is just out of their hands.

Poor product and poor customer service.After having Samsung appliances in our previous home, we thought we would "upgrade" to Kitchenaid and Whirlpool appliances. Wow what a mistake.
We have had to have several parts of our dishwasher replaced (after 2 years), our Whirlpool dryer fixed (after 1 year) and now after 4 years our refrigerator needs the fan motor and driver board for the LED lights replaced and the bottom crisper cracked (over $600!!). Spent over an hour on the phone attempting to get to customer service. When I finally connected to a real person, I was told there was nothing that could be done to compensate for the faulty appliances. Poor product and poor customer service.
Such a shame as I thought I would be "upgrading" to superior products.

Great Features - Disappointing Service / QualityWe purchased this fridge for our kitchen reno in Mar 2020. Features are great and it fits perfectly, BUT the quality leaves us disappointed. The ice maker failed within a year (repaired under warrranty). A little over 18 months in, the fridge has stopped cooling. A service appointment was available relatively quickly, but we have now been waiting 8 weeks for parts/repair, with no end in sight. Fortunately we have another fridge to use (different brand), but two months without anything is completely unacceptable. Worse yet is no one seems to care or be able to provide an update. Our previous reno also included a complete KitchenAid replacement with no issues, but this experience will have us looking elsewhere next time.

Nice fridge but very noisyWe bought this fridge last month to replace a 3 year old side by side KitchenAid that kept frosting up and not cooling. An appliance repairman said that the circuit board needed to be replaced, which we did, only to have it start frosting up again 2 months later. We decided to stay with the KitchenAid brand to match our other appliances. This fridge is nice looking and very spacious. We don't need a large freezer so it works out well for us. The biggest concern I have is the constant buzzing noise. The other one was definitely not as loud as this one. Still wondering if this is normal?

Great Design, terrible qualityFridge worked when plugged in. 2 months later we got the water line hooked up. A month later the indoor ice maker started freezing large blobs of ice, water leaking inside and out of seam onto the floor. Repaired 4 times still leaks. KitchenAide has agreed to replace but don't have any replacements. Advised to contact dealer who say wait until Aug. After reading the reviews I think we'll change to a different model....really liked all the features so not happy it's not a functional fridge.

Update to the compressorThis is an update to my post yesterday. So I FINALLY got through customer service...3 hours on hold and multiple transfers. They tell me that my compressor is out of stock and they need 21 days to do a nationwide search. 3 weeks to search in a computer?? I don't think so! In the meantime I have no kitchen refrigerator, hundreds of $$ lost in food, and no idea when, if ever, it will be fixed. Reminder, we only have had the refrigerator for 14 months. I'll keep you all posted....
