We collaborated with Brittni Pertijs, Lead Colour, Material & Finish Designer for KitchenAid, to explore how Blue Salt can play with a variety of colour palettes to help express ever-changing inspiration, perspectives and brand new ideas.

HOW BLUE SALT BECAME THE 2024 COLOUR OF THE YEAR

As a departure from the warm tones like Beetroot and Hibiscus that have dominated the past few years, trends have shifted to cooler colours, reflecting the natural tones of air and water. Paired with chromatic elements inspired by nail polish, the subtle, shifting red-pearl finish of Blue Salt became a reality.
