Spills happenSpills happen and apparently Kitchenaid has no advise for when they do. The vent that pumps cold air imto the fridge compartment is located on the bottom shelf all the way to the back of the fridge. I spilled some milk and cleaned it up. What I didn't realize is that the milk went into the vent(which is completely exposed) and into the mechanical parts. A day after the spill the smell of spoiled milk was noticeable. Kitchenaid had no recommendations. Repair company said they cant do anything. A $2000 fridge ruined by a cup of milk. Thanks kitchenaid.

Great fridgeWe have bought kitchen aid appliances multiple times and will never stray from this brand! It’s reliable and long lasting. Our last kitchen aid fridge was 13.5 years old with zero issues.
This current fridge is a model down from the last one we had and that is my own disappointment, I wanted the exact same one and didn’t realize I was buying the “step down”, but this is a me-problem because it’s still a wonderful fridge, all it’s missing is about 2inches in height, a hands free water button and a 3rd small drawer in the freezer. Apparently I’m not used to change but honestly it’s a great fridge I would 10/10 recommend it

Stylish and EfficientWe love the look and style of this refrigerator. Our power bill is lower since replacing our kitchen appliances with all KitchenAid products, and I know the biggest culprit was the old fridge. We had a limitation on size as the previous owner had built new cabinets around a pretty small fridge. The opening is only 32" wide by 64" tall. This was one of the only refrigerators with French doors and bottom freezer that would fit. We went with this one as the style is awesome. I would like more flexibility for arranging the shelf units on the doors, and the option for shorter sides on those shelves. But we've made it work.

Fridge cheaply made, does not keep consistent tempWe've had this fridge for 4 months. Had the previous model that was from 7 years ago and previous home. This fridge is made very cheaply in comparison and have to say we are very disappointed in the quality. It seems to be of much lower quality than the matching gas range and dishwasher. Drawers are plastic on plastic, no wheels or gliders. It also does not keep consistent temperature throughout the fridge. Many times our greens will freeze solid, or items in one part of the fridge will be frozen solid while others are normally refrigerated, or if something is towards the back of the fridge it will freeze while the front items remain fine. Would not recommend. Wish we had our old KitchenAid fridge back.

GREAT LITTLE REFRIGERATORI had this for a few weeks now. It's nice & bright on the inside. I love that the water dispenser is on the inside. Only problem i have with the water is they should have made a drip tray for it. If you pull away after you get your water it drips drops of water under the glass of the crisper. I also would recommend to have the door alarm a bit louder (or Vol. controls) when the doors are left open too long. The width of the unit id perfect, but i wish it was a few inches taller. Warning if you gonna place soda cans on the back shelves make sure they are not near the vents they will explode even on the low setting.

So Far So GoodI've had this refrigerator for a few weeks and so far no problems. I like the way the interior is set up. Everything is very visible and the shelves area adjustable for a variety of configurations. The shelves on the doors are solid and large enough to hold a gallon of milk. The one thing I don't "get" is the "Fresh Vue Bin" that is on the left door. It opens down, but I can't for the life of me figure out what you'd store there and have been unable to find any interior photos of the unit that actually show something in it. I like the finish, especially the hardware. Looking forward to many years of good use.

so many better options out thereWe purchased the first fridge in early 2017. After having it repaired under warranty 3x they finally replaced it under warranty in 2019. Though we aren't having the same issues with the new fridge we have constant issues with items freezing up in the fridge area and it makes horrible noises when running. Certainly not the quality we expected from the brand, certainly not something we would ever recommend anyone buy.
We also had the kitchen aid slide in gas range that had to be repaired 3x (of course it was out of warranty). When it needed to be repaired a 4th time we opted to throw it out and get another brand.

Suitable fridge for a smaller kitchenPros: looks nice; keeps level temperature; shelves adjust.
Cons: doors don't open 180 degrees so taking drawers out to clean or sliding a cookie sheet in to chill is a little challenging but not impossible; left side drawer is wider than the door so we have to open both doors to access that drawer (not a big deal); the door handles and freezer handle obviously protrude in a small galley kitchen.
The cons would make this a 4.5 star rating if I could do that but overall, we are pleased with the function. There aren't a lot of 30"w choices out there with French doors over freezer - glad KitchenAid came through.

StylishThis fridge is very stylish. I love the white, clean, sharp look of it. I know most people are in to the stainless steel appliances but I like to be different and I have always followed my own way so if you're the type of person who doesn't follow the norm, check this model out and you will see how stylish and modern it looks in your kitchen. As well as the look, it is very well designed, I have enough space. There is just one thing that I am not happy about and that is that I was missing the the air filter in my pkg. I am waiting on an answer to my enquiry and I'm sure this will also be resolved soon.

Awful product and customer serviceI bought this fridge less than one month ago. The fridge has stopped cooling below 60 F. The freezer still works but the fridge portion is completely useless. I contacted kitchenaid over a week ago for a fix. I was first told by Monday at the latest. It's now Tuesday and no word on a fix time. The latest I was told is they have no control over the independent contractor they hire for the fix and have no idea when it will be fixed. Kitchenaid has been no help at all in getting my fridge fixed. Appalling customer service on top of a poor quality product.

Clean LinesHad this a couple of weeks now and am on the whole pleased. I like the clean lines on the front - although I would had preferred the handles to not be quite so shiny in comparison to the very nice black stainless color of the actual fridge. The placement of the water filter is awkward and needing two hands to use it shows very poor planning/forethought. Also the actual water tube is very short and so often the water dribbles down the side of water ever you are trying to fill. Again this could easily be improved. The rest of the fridge is fine and well designed though. It is not too loud either.

Sent a faulty fridgeI am so disappointed with this fridge. We have only had it for 2 weeks and already have an issue with it. The freezer coils are frozen over and now the refrigerator no longer cools. There is obviously something wrong with it and Kitchenaid’s solution is to send out a technician in 5 days. I will loose hundreds of dollars worth of food, have a family to feed and will be without a fridge for at least 5 days. I am disappointed with their solution and believe it should be replaced since they have obviously sent me a faulty fridge. We were so excited and was looking forward to this appliance. The great reviews is one of the reasons I purchased this fridge, but I guess we were sent a lemon.

Most convenient interior layout.I have owned several Kitchen Aid appliances over the years. I selected this model as it met all the criteria required during my complete kitchen remodeling. As in the past, the reputation of the product and service was formost in my choice. Having used this refrig for several weeks now, I would recommend it to everyone.
Flexibility of door shelves and interior shelving in terrific. Location and operation of interior water dispenser is the best. The bottom freezer arrangement and smoothness of all operations was a nice surprise. Your designers did an outstanding job with this 30" wide refrigerator.

So far so goodI bought this refrigerator a month ago and so far it is great. I never had an ice maker before and now I see why people love this feature. The indoor water dispenser is fine, though the water isn't quite as cold as I'd hoped. I would have preferred a larger fridge, but this is the only size that fits my space. It can hold everything I need for my small family and the shelving is fairly flexible. It's very attractive and quiet. I kind of wish it had a digital thermometer readout, but the food is kept at an optimal temp for me at coldest setting so bottom line is....I'm more than satisfied.

Not the best use of spaceI bought this unit because I really like the smooth front, the water dispenser and ice machine are located inside the unit. The wine rack is a nice feature but it makes the shelf below it very short so very few things fit on it. I actually took the wine rack out to better use the space. The shelves have quite a gap at the back and some items can fall down. The description led me to believe that this unit has a produce freshness feature but I don't believe that it does. The manual that comes with the fridge is no useful and I find the online information to not be very thorough either.

Very disappointing! We were having issues with our 7 year old Samsung refrigerator. After several service calls and a ruptured water filter that caused a flood we decided to replace it. We wanted the "Lexus" of refrigerators for dependability. After much research we decided on the KitchenAid brand. Unfortunately after having the refrigerated delivered 3 weeks ago we have had two service calls, the mother board has been replaced and now we are waiting for parts to arrive to replace the water dispenser assembly. Hence the very dissatisfied rating. even worse going forward we have no confidence in the unit.

Looks great. Expensive. Has flaws. Overall good. Happy.Look, this is a really expensive appliance. Frankly, you're paying a premium to get a small fridge with the common features of larger units. It is really nice looking, seems well built, and stays cold. It's somewhat louder than my previous fridge, but doesn't really bother me. The water dispenser has a tendency to drip - the stream is also angled into the fridge so it's hard to fill larger containers. The shelving is adequate for my family (it's worth noting that I am glad we have a second fridge because this unit is small). I would have preferred a taller unit at this width.

Counter-DepthFrig similar to what we had before but counter-depth makes it sit flush in cavity...nice! Digital readout at top is nice feature. We do have one concern that we are monitoring. Granted the weather has been hot and often humid, we have had to have the humidity control on practically all the time to prevent moisture on shelves and door panel. The house is well air-conditioned so outside heat shouldn't be causing the problem. Temp readings are set at 0 deg and 38 deg per manual. Worried about extra cost of using humidity control all the time. What advise do you have for me? Otherwise, happy with all the features including veg/fruit/deli drawers and inside water dispenser. Hope you can help with our one issue.

refrigerator breaks after 1 week.Purchased this fridge about a month ago. Spent $351.00 restocking the fridge. Condiments, meats, milk etc. Refrigerator started making a loud clicking sound after the first week . Called company we purchased it from. Was told they could not look at it until following week. Raised heck with them and they sent a tech out that day. What we heard was that some flap that allows air from the freezer to the refrigerator was not allowing the air to be transferred properly. Had to order part and it took a week for part and repair to be completed. Spent another $270.00 restocking fridge. Would you be happy when a brand new fridge needs a repair and you have to wait a week for a part. Not to mention that it fizzled after a week. Don't have a lot of warm fuzzy feelings about this new purchase.

It's a good fridge...The refrigerator came with the house from the Builder so we didn't have a choice in brand selection. We've never owned Kitchen Aid appliances so to be fair, we're giving it more time to see how they long they last. Unfortunately the Builder does not provide the water line connection so we can't use the water dispenser or ice maker until we arrange our own plumber and cover that cost. The fridge space inside is a bit small but we're trying to work with it. The freezer section is sensored so if anything blocks the airways, the digital temperature will be thrown off and you'll see over icing happening and even the refrigerator temperature will drop and some items can get icy. Overall, it's a decent refrigerator.

Love my new Kitchen Aid fridgeI bought this fridge a month ago and I am loving my new fridge. The size is perfect for us and I like the counter depth feature. The water filter inside the fridge is not as convenient (as compared to an outside dispenser) but it makes the outside panels aesthetically pleasing. The ice maker in the freezer section is always full of ice and handy; however, I find the ice tray is too big and it reduced the capacity of the freezer. Perhaps the tray could be half the size. Other than this, it is an excellent fridge. I just hope it lasts longer than 4-5 years!... cross my finger!

Do not buy this refrigeratorI bought this refrigerator in September 2019. The freezer didn't work properly right from the installation. After 3 technician visits, it worked, until May 2020, when the ice maker stopped working. I have now been waiting since May 26th to receive 3 parts needed to fix the ice maker. As of today, July 13, 2020, the ice maker is still not working and the parts have not arrived. This has been an exercise in frustration. It makes me not want to buy any Kitchenaid product in the future. I would highly recommend you exercise caution if you are thinking about buying this model.

Very Pleased with our ChoiceAfter 7 weeks in service, our 20 cf Refrigerator has been working flawlessly. We have thermometers in both compartments, and their temperatures have been rock steady at the desired levels. This is our first French Door and Bottom Freezer Refrigerator. We really like the arrangement. The Ice Maker in the bottom freezer and Water Dispenser inside the refrigerator compartment have worked just fine. (We did not want an "exterior door" ice and water dispenser, in order to conserve space.) The shelves, drawers and door shelves have worked out well for our needs. We wanted the 20 cf size to reduce the footprint versus the older refrigerator which it replaced. Nonetheless, the 20 cf volume has been adequate for our needs.

Works as expectedWe bought this refrigerator a few months ago and it has been working well since. The interior space of the refrigerator is quite tight once we fit everything in. Everything has a designated space in the fridge to make it work. The water dispenser can be loud when in use, especially the water tubes on the back of the refrigerator - when water stops dispensing the tubes move and 'slap' the back of the fridge. More tape can be installed to secure the tubes better to the back of the fridge. Suggest doing this prior to moving the fridge in place and filling it up.

Very happy with purchaseWe needed to replace our side by side, and because we were limited on space because of an overhead counter, our options were limited. We wanted ice and filtered water which limited us even more. So I went online and found that this refrigerator got good reviews. I am very happy with it. Some of the shelves are short so it takes a little time to figure out where to put things, but after a couple of weeks, we figured out a pretty good system. The only thing I wish was different is that the water should be on the right side because when you open the left side to get water, you really have to open thr right door to get it to close properly. Other than that, it seems to cool items very well. Also, the freezer is quite roomy.

Very disappointedPurchased this fridge three weeks ago and the left door no longer close if the right door is closed. You have to open the right door, close the left door and then close right door, or the mechinizam between the doors binds.
I call kitchen aid customer service and they told me you have to close the left door first and if the right door is closed you have to open it prior to closing the left door. This is ridiculous, as any fridge you look at with French doors, in the
showroom you can close either door first or second, even fridges at half the price.

Great featuresI purchased this fridge as well as the range and the dishwasher to compliment the look of my kitchen but I have fallen in love with not only how they look but the best feature of the refrigerator is the depth . I don’t loose stuff shoved to the back of my old regular depth refrigerator. Also the in door water dispenser keeps the look sleek and clean , also I don’t have to deal with the ice and water in the outside of my old refrigerator that always got jammed . It is so great how organized this appliance allows me to be it makes meal time so convenient.
