Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay away Google KitchenAid wall ovens, and you’ll hear dozens of stories like mine...horrendously loud ovens that can’t get over 315 degrees...all just past warranty.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beyond dissapointed I have always outfitted my homes with KitchenAid appliances throughout. Always very pleased. Until now. My last wall oven blew a fuse when I used the self clean and I've come to understand this is a common occurrence. In my old stove it only happened once. An inconvenience but no big deal. My current oven was bought just over a year ago. We were in the process of moving and before the open house I used the light clean with no problem. I was too nervous to run it too long as I had no time to repair should a fuse blow. But then after selling our house, the night before moving out I did a max self clean. I was annoyed to see no power the next day and figured another fuse had blown. Indeed it had. I was able to get the repair man quickly and he replaced the fuse only to find no health now. The mother board also blew. He fixed that only to find the thermostat also needed replacing. 900$ later I am ticked off. The repair man said this is a known issue and he recommends never using self clean. Why have this feature if it's so much a gamble? Because you feel people won't buy it if you don't offer than option? It is just off of warranty. We purchased extended warranty but it was through sears Canada, which is no longer. So basically we bought a whole new appliance. On top of that, this wall oven ran much louder than the last. Other than that when it worked it worked well and very true temp. But that's a heavy price to pay on a relatively new appliance. We just bought all Kitchenaid again for the house we are about to move in to and I'm now debating whether to call our sales agent back and switch out to another brand. I've been very loyal to the brand but this in addition to having difficulty with customer service when trying to order replacement screws is telling me that this long term relationship may be over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love our new oven Bought this wall oven to replace our current oven. What a difference. Our new oven heats up and cools down faster; is significantly quieter, and the temperature is more accurate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wall oven Have only had the oven for just over a week. It seems fine. Installation was easy. The operation manual could be more user friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use, very intuitive... It's first dinner was lasagna, it's second was a Thanksgiving turkey. With the help of the temperature probe, the bird was beautifully cooked.... the lower rack is a great feature. Very happy with this choice....and it replaced a 20 yr old kitchenaid

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely design and operation Our new Kitchenaid wall oven is a welcome replacement in our kitchen. Have had 2 Jennair wall ovens over the past 15 years and they were nothing but trouble. The temperature would get so hot during self cleaning that it would shut off. Haven't cleaned the new oven yet, but am hoping all will be good! Only problem . . . I was told by the salesperson that I could leave the racks in the oven during cleaning. This is the major reason I bought this model. However, upon reading the operation manual, it says to take them out. Which is correct???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great meal maker love my new wall oven,. racks slide out so easy.MY favorite thing is the meat probe .all my meats are now cooked to perfection.always tender .I am now buying more roasts which goes a long way though the week .I use to value my oven by my baking but due to severe rheumatoid arthritis in my hands Ive had to cut back on my mixing etc so it feels good to at least produce a good dinner .I could never get the meat cooked right .hallelujah THANK YOU

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy Our oven quit working (just installed in February). It got way to hot after the self-clean and burnt our brand new custom cabinets. It blew the thermal fuse and main control. Kitchenaid/Whirlpool has been rude to work with. Would not recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fan noise is brutal The oven does a great job on cooking but we had an issue with the circuit board blowing after we used the self clean mode for the first time. It built up too much heat causing the board to blow. They replaced the board under warranty & put in a set of retrofit fans to improve airflow so this wouldn't happen again. It did improve the airflow but now it sounds like we have a 747 jet in the kitchen from just regular cooking. When you turn the oven off, the fans stay on to dissipate heat until it gets down to a certain temp. The whole family can't wait until they shut off so we can talk normal. We leave the oven door open to shorten this time from about 15 min down to 5 min.
