Rated 1 out of 5 by from My cooktop is cooked This cooktop is great because the top itself doesn't heat up, thus sloppy Chiefs can spill food all over it and it doesn't crust on! Yay! You can also put your hand on the element and not burn yourself(like people are doing that all the time. It does heat up quickly after you restock all your cabinets with pots that are compatible with it. The controls are not very user friendly. Quite often it's hard to get the exact setting you want with the unmarked touch range control. Now, the thing is completely dead. Won't power up. The circuit to it is fine. I took it apart to find what looks like the inside of a fighter jet or some super computer... I did actually find a blown fuse....spent the afternoon finding the obscure fuse...replaced it and it blew again.... Are we really getting ahead with all this technology that we really don't understand? Hopefully it can be repaired by a technician that I've called but chances are they don't work on or don't know anything about these things either. Guess I'll go gather some wood and cook over an open fire and least I know that's straightforward and reliable. Btw, I've called the help line and in the mean time I decided to look up any troubleshooting tips online, ended up here and have been on hold for as long as it's taken me to write this review, so far....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Replacement Parts unavailable I was enjoying using the cooktop for only 3 months when a small light weight cutting board feel out of cupboard and broke the glass top. Have been unable to purchase the replacement glass from any suppliers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small Pots Work Fine We've had this cooktop for 2 years and are extremely happy with it. It does everything you could expect. I've seen a number of complaints that small pots don't work, we have Jamie Oliver / T-Fal stainless pros and the 5" 1Qt/1Lt works perfectly. The only caveat I'd say is the unit needs a 60 Amp supply, which is a heavy expensive connection.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I won't recommend this to my friends My cooktop broke in 1.5 year just a little bit outside of the warranty. So had to pay for the labor. I also noticed when I had centro burner and front right burner turned on at the same time. The power for the front right burner was like charge to the highest level then went down and again charge to the highest level then went down. The power won't hold on its highest level. I asked the question to one of the technician who came to fix my cooktop. He claimed it was normal for induction cooktop to behave like that. Disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cooking made easy I installed the cooktop a out 2 months ago and was very impressed with how easty it was to work. My induction pans worked very well on it and I didn't have to buy new ones. Also , my mother lives with me and she is elderly and I was so afraid she would burn herself or leave it on for too long. This cooktop is not hot and turns off quickly when it's no longer needed . Mind of its own. Love it!!!
